Reward

Victor has been working hard to pay back his new climbing shoes. He works in a little cafe and also (even better) at his indoor climbing gym. We haven't seen much of him these holidays. If he is not working, he is climbing!

Reading sessions

I have been invited by the Brisbane City Council Libraries to read "Merlin's Voyage" and do some nautical related activities. I visited 4 libraries this week and had fun telling our stories to kids from very different social and cultural background. They all went back home with a little rope to practice their knots (figure of eight and reef knot). 

Vive la musique!

Now that Felix has his busking permit, he went to play at South Bank.

Thanks to people's generosity, he made enough money to come back with a big smile and a wish to go again soon (and with his music stand!)

Nouvelle St Nicolas

Est-ce vraiment la 8eme annee que l'on a la visite de St Nicolas a bord?

Hier soir, nous avons soigneusement pose nos chaussures sur le pont (comme indique par Clea sur notre calendrier) pour les retrouver ensuite ce matin remplies de surprises chocolatees. Les "manele" etaient aussi bien sur au rendez-vous du petit dejeuner.

Movember

This year, Greg took the “Movember” challenge very seriously. He didn’t only grow a moustache but also a full beard. For those who don’t know “Movember” comes from “mo” a diminutive for moustache and November and was created to raise awareness for men's mental illness and try to change the face of men's health.

Greg liked the few minutes saved in the morning. After a month of hardwork and few fun looks, he shaved again - apparently for me!

The challenge is finished but donatation are still open.
